It’s Margarita time! Spice up 5 De Mayo with this Grapefruit and Manuka Honey Margarita!
Ingredients:
For Manuka Honey Cayenne Syrup
- 1/2 cup Manuka Honey
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
For the Margarita:
- 3 shots of fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 shot of tequila
- 1 shot of Manuka Honey-Cayenne syrup
- 1 shot of Cointreau
- 2 small slices of jalapeño
- 1 jar of PRI Margarita Salt for the rim
Preparation:
Combine Mauka Honey, water and Cayenne pepper in a saucepan. Bring to simmer. Cool in the fridge.
In a shaker add grapefruit juice, Manuka Honey Cayenne syrup, Cointreau, jalapeño slices and ice.
Shake away!
Strain over ice. Pour in a salt-rimmed Margarita glass and garnish with a lime or jalapeño slice. Cheers!!!
